Intuition 360 London & Surrey Coaching

Intuition 360 supports young athletes aged 5+ as they progress from strong foundations in movement and athletics to confident event development and specialisation.

Our inclusive, six-phase athlete development framework builds physical skills, emotional regulation, and social confidence, while promoting lifelong wellbeing,

helping every child feel supported, capable, and confident through sports.

Six-Phase Framework​

  1. Discover & Explore:

    Athletes develop fundamental movement skills through fun, play, and curiosity-led activity.

  2. Build & Balance: Coordination, teamwork, and body awareness are strengthened while supporting emotional regulation and confidence. 

  3. Strengthen & Skill:  Athletes refine sport-specific techniques, develop resilience, and build positive attitudes towards challenge.

  4. Compete & Commit: Tactical awareness, healthy competition, and mental skills are introduced to prepare athletes for progression. 

  5. Perform & Progress: The focus shifts to independence, self-reflection, goal-setting, and sustained performance

  6. Lead & Legacy: Athletes are inspired to remain involved for life through pathways into leadership, mentoring, and coaching.

This journey supports every athlete, neurodivergent or neurotypical, to grow in confidence and competence while developing a lifelong love of movement,

in an environment where they feel truly understood, supported, and empowered.

Progression at Intuition 360

 

Intuition 360, progression is carefully planned, intentionally paced, and grounded in our Athlete Development Framework.

We believe young athletes develop best when performance, confidence, and understanding grow together. That’s why progression is measured in two equally important ways:

  • On the track – physical performance and technical development

  • Off the track – confidence, mindset, and readiness to compete

This ensures athletes are not just improving, they are developing sustainably.

Framework-Aligned Progression

 

Our Athlete Development Framework guides how and when athletes progress, ensuring each stage builds the right foundations for the next.

 

Foundation & Skill Development Stages

(Early pathway)

At this stage, progression focuses on:

  • Learning correct movement patterns and event fundamentals

  • Building enjoyment and confidence in training

  • Introducing competition gradually and positively

Competitions are used to:

  • Experience race and field environments

  • Learn routines and rules

  • Begin recording official performances without pressure

Progress is celebrated through personal improvement, not comparison.

Development & Commitment Stages

(Emerging athletes)

As athletes mature, progression becomes more structured.

We adopt the England Athletics PB Awards to recognise and celebrate measurable improvement in track and field.

These awards:

  • Provide nationally recognised benchmarks

  • Encourage goal setting and motivation

  • Reinforce progress across a season

  • Reward consistency, not just standout performances

Competitions now play a clearer role in:

  • Recording official times and distances

  • Validating training outcomes

  • Supporting athlete reflection and learning

Performance & Progression Stages

(Talented and performance-focused athletes)

For athletes showing strong commitment and potential, progression becomes more targeted and informed.

We use England Athletics Power of 10 to:

  • Understand where athletes rank nationally for their age group

  • Identify emerging talent objectively

  • Support realistic goal setting and planning

  • Inform conversations around next steps

Rankings are used as guidance tools, not labels. Every athlete’s journey remains individual.

Off-Track Progression:

Building the Confidence to Compete

Across all stages of the framework, progression is also measured by an athlete’s mental and emotional readiness.

We support athletes to develop:

  • Confidence to step onto the start line

  • Competition routines and emotional regulation

  • Focus, resilience, and self-belief

  • Healthy responses to pressure and challenge

This mental work is embedded into the programme — ensuring athletes are ready to perform, not just prepared to compete

A Purposeful Approach to Competition

Within the Intuition 360 framework, competition is:

  • Developmentally appropriate

  • Athlete-centred

  • Used with intention

Competitions are selected to:

  • Record performances officially

  • Reinforce learning and confidence

  • Support long-term engagement in athletics

Athletes are encouraged to compete when they are physically prepared, mentally ready, and emotionally supported.

Progression is not rushed — it is earned, supported, and celebrated.

For us, progression means:

Training Schedule

 Our current group session is at Wimbledon Athletics track,

that provide a structured and supportive environment for young athletes to develop confidence, movement skills, and performance.

Monday
6:30 pm–8:00 pm Ages 13+

Tuesday & Thursday
6:00 pm–7:00 pm Ages 11–13

7:00 pm–8:00 pm Ages 13+

1:1 Athlete Development

Our 1:1 sessions offer more personalised support and can be arranged at other suitable times and locations to meet the needs of the athlete and family.
